About Us

Helping conservationists tap into opportunities to access long-haul sustainable financial support.

We are excited to announce the formation of Godwit, a subsidiary of Key Conservation.

Godwit aims to empower conservation organizations through our dedicated intake platform (coming soon) to develop, market, and sell biodiversity credits. With the ultimate goal to increase sustainable funding for conservation efforts by at least 50%.

Godwit was named after the longest flying bird the Bar-Tailed Godwit, a bird that can fly for up to 17 days straight, to symbolize our mission to bring long haul sustaining support to conservation efforts worldwide.

Godwit was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant to develop the Key Conservation platform and conduct in-depth research within conservation to identify solutions to address biodiversity on a global scale.

We believe in open collaboration so please get in touch at contact@godwitkey.com if you would like to learn more or are interested in working together on this exciting next stage in our journey.
